Title: Weighted Hardy inequality on topological measure spaces

Abstract: The talk is about a multidimensional Hardy operator in weighted Lebesgue spaces. We describe the history of the subject, with emphasis on the recent results by Prokhorov, Stepanov and Ushakova (2018), Ruzhansky and Yessirkegenov (2019), Ruzhansky and Verma (2021) and Sinnamon (2022). We explain why the transition from one dimension to many dimensions took so long and what tools have been used by different authors. Then we report new results and share plans for future research.

Biography:

Kairat Mynbaev defended his Doctor’s dissertation in 1991 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He is currently a professor at the Kazakh-British Technical University (Almaty, Kazakhstan). He is a specialist in function theory and statistics. His most significant achievements include: best cubature formulas on the Sobolev weight class (1990), exact characterization of Lp-approxi-mable weights (2001), order-optimal convergence rates for nonparametric estimates of den-sities (2018) and convergence rate estimates in inversion theorems for the Fourier transform (2019). The talk is based on his unpublished results from 1991 and 2021.
